Fear of others, of failure, of expressing oneself... Fear can often become our greatest adversary when it intrudes into our lives. "Fear is the child within us who panics." The child we once were, perhaps not always comforted in their fears, finds themselves reliving them in their adult life. Fear is like excitement, but without the breath. This portrait signifies a pivotal moment in my life, as I continue to discover more about myself and embrace life in all its complexity. Every detail narrates the tale of my journey towards peace, freedom, and acceptance. It is my hope that those who look at this black haired warrior will sense her authenticity and strength, and be inspired to embark on their own journey with courage and determination.
